Overview

I redesigned an escape-room coding challenge as part of the Green Code Hackathon, applying a UX-first, user-centred approach under tight constraints. The focus was on improving clarity, usability and accessibility rather than visual polish. Through heuristic review and flow mapping, I identified friction across onboarding, navigation and in-room problem-solving. I defined clear UX and UI foundations in Figma, including typography, colour, layout and core components, to support focus, reduce cognitive load and ensure consistency across screens.
