Senior Product Designer – Onboarding & Assurance

I lead design onboarding and assurance for secondary care trusts and Patient Engagement Platforms (PEPs) integrating with the NHS App, supporting a national appointment platform used across 150 trusts. I delivered user-centred appointment design systems for desktop and mobile across outpatient, inpatient, mental health and community services. Working closely with supplier teams, I translated national design standards into onboarding design packages, led design walkthroughs, and ran sandbox assurance sessions for first-time onboarders, applying design judgement to balance standardisation with trust-specific needs. I independently reviewed Assurance of Service builds against approved designs, ensured accessibility compliance across implementations, and documented design decisions and deviations to support consistent, scalable delivery.
